Mukhyamantri Seekho Kamao Yojana:
As part of his vision for inclusive growth and employment generation, Shivraj Singh Chouhan introduced the Mukhyamantri Seekho Kamao Yojana in Madhya Pradesh. Launched during his tenure as Chief Minister, this transformative scheme aimed to empower the youth and economically weaker sections of society by providing them with skill development opportunities.
The primary objective of the Mukhyamantri Seekho Kamao Yojana was to bridge the gap between education and employability. The scheme focused on imparting industry-relevant skills to the unemployed youth and school dropouts, thereby enhancing their chances of finding gainful employment or becoming self-employed.
To ensure effective implementation, the Madhya Pradesh government collaborated with various training institutions and industry partners. These institutions offered a wide range of skill development courses across different sectors, such as IT, hospitality, retail, agriculture, healthcare, and more. The beneficiaries could choose courses that aligned with their interests and aspirations, making the learning process engaging and meaningful.
One of the key highlights of the scheme was the provision of financial support to the candidates. Depending on the duration and complexity of the chosen course, the beneficiaries received stipends during the training period. This financial assistance aimed to reduce the burden on economically disadvantaged sections and encourage more individuals to participate in skill development programs.
